It blocks more than 1,500 major spyware and adware programs, Trojan horses, and home-page hijackers. Automatic updates keep the application current at all times, and the program completely cleans your cache, cookies, and browser history. Pop-Up Sentry also blocks sponsored search ads on Google, MSN, and Yahoo and optionally blocks annoying ad banners. The program is easy to use and contains no spyware, adware, or any other harmful software. Sponsored-ad and banner blocking is now available under the advanced options and is off by default.
